About IVAC

It takes a flourishing community to help a business thrive, and we at IVAC are dedicated to seeing that the Illinois Valley grows and prospers, today and in the future. We are a non-profit organization, supported by membership fees and an annual fundraiser, working toward improving the area's economic base.

We strive to retain existing business and industry and attract new business and industry, as well as advocate for the improvement of transportation facilities and infrastructure and promote area tourism and regional cooperation.

Over the years, we have been involved in a number of successful projects to grow the area, including spurring the fundraising for the development and expansion of our regional airport and advocating for the construction of 51 miles of I-39 that were needed to complete the connection between Canada and the Gulf of Mexico. We have also worked diligently to land more than 20 new firms and support the expansion of more than 60 area businesses.
