    Position Available:  Art History Instructor, Part-Time

    The Division of Humanities, Fine Arts, and Social Sciences at IVCC is seeking an instructor for January to May 2025 to teach one or more in-person or online classes in Art History. Courses are full-semester (16-weeks) and may be in-person or online. In-person classes may be held at the main campus in Oglesby, IL, at the extension campus in Ottawa, IL, or as a Dual Credit class at an in-district high school.

    Qualifications Required: Master’s in Art, Art History, or Studio Art; Masters in Fine Arts (MFA) with a focus in Art or Art History; or Master’s in a related field and 18 graduate credit hours in Art or Art History. Graduate coursework must be from an accredited college/university. Previous teaching experience in higher education is preferred. Experience with online learning platforms is preferred.

    Salary:  Per the Guidelines to Part-Time Faculty Employment, $688.00 per credit hour
