    Position Summary:

    Express Employment Professionals is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Native Plant Sales Manager to join a dynamic team out of Leland, IL. This role is responsible for managing key client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and driving strategic growth initiatives across a designated territory. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ecological restoration and native plant solutions, paired with strong sales acumen and relationship management skills.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Build, maintain, and grow relationships with key clients and internal team members.

    • Strategically identify and cultivate new business opportunities to expand market share.

    • Proactively analyze current strategies—enhancing what works and reimagining what doesn’t.

    • Strengthen the company’s brand presence through outreach, strategic partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote long-term, sustainable growth.

    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and growth areas.

    • Represent the company at tradeshows, conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and industry functions.

    • Deliver compelling presentations and webinars to elevate product awareness and attract potential clients.

    • Prepare and respond to RFPs from prospective partners and clients.

    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of customer-facing web platforms and digital tools.

    • Participate in public speaking engagements and educational presentations to broaden reach and impact.


    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Required: Previous sales experience, preferably within Native Plants or Ecological Restoration Projects.

    • Strong relationship management and client engagement skills.

    • Strategic thinker with solid planning and forecasting abilities.

    • In-depth knowledge of product offerings and industry sector.

    • Financial and business acumen, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

    • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

    • Proven ability to explain complex products and services to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives.

    • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
