Tieman Builders is a family owned business that was established in 1993 with the intention of providing quality professional carpentry to the Illinois Valley area. As we grew, our business expanded to many aspects of the construction industry including General Contracting services.

Dean was born and raised in Peru, a life long resident of the Illinois Valley. He and his wife Dawn, have lived in LaSalle since 1983. His son Bob works with him doing the shop drawings and helping with estimating. His daughter Katie helps her mom out in the office from time to time.

Dean and Dawn are celebrating 25 years of being in business.

Mike Legrenzi, started his apprenticeship with us in 1994 and now is a Journeyman carpenter with years of experience. Mike is a native of Oglesby and lives there with his wife, Kelly, and their two children.

Kevin Gabrielse has finished his apprenticeship with us and has reached Journeyman status. He and his wife, Sarah, live in Sterling and have 2 children.

Andy Nadolski has finished his apprenticeship and is a Journeyman carpenter with us. He lives in Peru with his 2 children.
